The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has notify the general public that they will open the INECPRES portal for interested Applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election as scheduled below:

The activation of INECPRES on Friday, 18^th September 2026 by 8:00am and closes on Wednesday, 18^th November, 2026 by 12 midnight.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AD-HOC STAFF ONLINE RECRUITMENT (INECPRES) - GENERAL ELECTION

Available Positions

1. Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO)

Requirement: Must be a Public/Civil Servant on Grade Level 10-14 OR Registration Area Officers/INEC staff not engaged in other duties (GL 10-14).

2. Registration Area Center (RAC) Manager

Requirement: Must be a Head of School or a staff (GL 07 and above) of the school/ institution/ public building hosting the RAC.

3. Registration Area Technical Support (RATECH)

Requirement: Applicants for this category must have an IT background. Must be a suitable INEC ICT Staff (State & HQ) of the Commission not engaged in any other duties.

4. Presiding officer (PO) / Assistant Presiding officer (APO)

Requirement: Must be a Serving Corps member OR A penultimate student of a Federal/State tertiary institution in Nigeria with IT knowledge OR Permanent staff of an MDA with OND qualification or GL 07-10 OR INEC permanent staff on Grade Level 07 & 08 OR A former corps member (from 2024)
